DevBlog 3
The last few days I have still been working on getting the character we are using rigged up to solve some awkward animation issues.
The other day I added some inverse kinematics and now this guy can do a little dance!
This has all been a bit of an adventure. Whenever I get bored of this I begin on other side-projects like getting contextual controls displayed on screen or making the tower and top-down UI elements.
I have this problem where I start on the biggest issue first and then work to the smaller issues and I think it eats up a lot of time. For the rest of this project I have to remember to start small and then build big. I wasted almost a whole day yesterday trying to begin on an inventory system when I think I could have completed all the UI popups in the same amount of time. Or maybe not. I feel like a fraud, y'all. I don't feel like I know any of the things I am supposed to. Anybody here relate?
